Cincinnati: its a horrible place to be in the summer. The weather is unbearable and the location sucks big time.

Of the Mandatory ones Bejing has to be the worst, it's in an awful part of the season, players are tired and barely show up. The crowds are dreadful as well.

discounting Internationals, it should be Madrid. It always has a great field and has the advantage of having one the men's greats as a local player, but the atmosphere and attendance is terrible. Plus the surface and coverage is crap.

If not including internationals, doha. I hate it that the WTA gives tournaments to people that can play, and that Doha has a hge tournament when they have no history in the sport. Also the crowds arent great.

Agree with Doha too. Common theme is that countries with money to produce huge events but small to no tennis interest = crap event. At least Dubai's more cosmopolitan/globalized population and smaller stadium gives somewhat a good atmosphere during the latter stages of the tournament, and the men's tournament is always packed.

They should probably downgrade Beijing, but the chance of that is squat given that WTA only cares about the $$$$ Beijing organizers give.
