Totally forgot about that Wimbledon 2005 match between Junkovic an Myskina. Definitely one of the most grueling, “crazy” and gruesome matches the tour has seen, with both players basically playing the same kind of junky, grinder, ‘I’m going to bring you down to my level’ game, with both blowing huge leads on several occasions. This was before Junkovic rose up the ranks, and Myskina just came off her RG title defense embarrassment, yet ended up winning 3 extremely tight matches that Wimbledon to make the second week.

Wimbledon 2005 was the greatest tournament in the history of women's tennis

Jesus Christ, so many Slovaks (even lesser known) involved in a total mess of a match...not really surprising though

A completely forgotten one is Nadal vs Garcia Lopez in the 2010 Bangkok SF. Nadal converted 2/26 bps and 0/16 in the 2nd set :tape:

Tereza Mrdeza went 13 of 23 on break points in her 1-6 7-5 7-6(5) loss at this year's US Open. The only player to lose a match on the main tour with 13 converted break points.
