I hope she is finally healthy...and can stay that way awhile. I also hope she is getting some mental training.

I think if Anna doesn't play the rest of the year, or doesn't do well, it will be interesting to see what the WTA does.
If Anna is ranked around 300, will she stay near her home and play USTA events?
This year she skipped the European claycourt season.
I don't think the WTA wants Anna as competition, especially if the U.S. sports media can interview her and ignore the Tier I's in Europe.
Because the U.S. media just might do that.

Anna is playing World Team Tennis the next three nights.
She has not played a WTA event since she withdrew from her first round match at the FCC against Conchita Martinez.
After that Anna played two USTA challenger events. And now WTT.

I wonder how she will do. I hope she's healthy, and not rushing this. Of course, she's the only one who knows how she feels.

Anna played doubles in WTT for three nights.
Now she's on the cover of Maxim magazine. This is featured on almost every street where magazines are sold.
Anna's next tournament should be New Haven, right before the U.S. Open.
She will ask for a wildcard if she's healthy enough to play.

The players to appear on Arthur Ashe day were announced.
It's Anna, Agassi, and Roddick.
This is a USTA event to promote tennis in the U.S.
So they bring in the top two American men. And a Russian woman who is ranked #155.
This tells you what a superstar Anna is in American sports culture.

I don´t this she is called there just because the "sports culture". She is a very important icon in all over the world... but not exactly for her athletic conditions! :)

Anna will be playing an exhibition match with Tamarine Tanasugarn in Volvo Women's Open 2003, Pattaya Thailand during 3 - 9 November, 2003.

She will visit Thailand from November 6-9 to make a promotional video of tourist sites in Pattaya for the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), which is paying her more than Bt10 million in appearance fees.

More information in http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=81877

Can't wait to meet her in Pattaya.

Here's a little of Anna's itinerary:
On the radio in NYC, there are commercials for Tennis Magazine saying Anna will be meeting the public on Friday.
On Saturday, Anna will be at the Tennis Center for Arthur Ashe Day.
Of course, on the E! channel there are non stop promotions for the E! True Hollywood Story of Anna that begins airing tonight.

And no mention anywhere of Anna actually playing in a tennis tournament.

Enrique Iglesias performed at the Beacon Theatre in New York yesterday.
Someone who was there posted on Enrique's message board. Anna was dancing and singing at the side of the stage. Enrique was singing to her and etc.
So Anna is in NYC for the week.
Still don't know if she'll play in a tournament the rest of this year.
