I aint saying i expect her to do anything. Venus plays like 8 tournaments a yr, so she cant gain that many points. Its not unrealistic t see it happen...

I guess you haven't "NOTICED" that Venus has been able to maintain her top 10 position with so few tournaments, huh...??? It just kills you folks that the Sisters play so little and yet remain ranked so high...!!! They don't have to play 20 tournaments to maintain their rank, like many other players do...!!! :tape: :tape:

The top ten by the end of n-e-x-t s-e-a-s-o-n.
So by the end of the next season you think that there will be 8 players better than Venus or that have had a better season than her?!

Can someone get this grizzled senile senior citizen some medicare? He's taking his frustration out on the board.

And, the fact that Hingis is "RETIRED" and not able to play, has turned what little "brains" you had to "mush"...!!! No matter what you say about the Sisters, they will continue as they have in the past. That's why the haters are so hateful...The Williamses do what the hell they want, and still they rise...!!!

Martian Kc, I know you miss Hingis, but, is that any reason to hate on the Williamses...!!!

According to you Serena would be #1 if she played with both hands behind her back.

I would have said something more powerful, but it's not good to use the Lord's name in vain. Yes, Serena is the best in the world right now, but things can change between her and Venus just as they did before.
that's nice

it really is
1. Davenport 6'3"
2. Bovina 6'3"
3. Skavronskaya 6'2"
4. Venus Williams 6'1"
5. Molik 6'1"
6. Dementieva 6'0"
7. Hantuchova 6'0"
8. Sharapova 6'0"
9. Mauresmo 6'0"
10. Belik 6'0"

And in spare time they could play basketball.
No hope for Belgians and Serena ;)

You seem to be very convinced that it is all a matter of what Venus does. So Serena isn´t part of the equation?!

If we breakdown their games, I don´t see many part of the game that Venus has an edge in: only backhand and maybe court coverage and patience. That´s it....forehand, serve and return are all Serena.

Why are you so convinced that Venus will be THAT much more dominating over Serena?!

Serena is taller than Momo, I think she is taller than Dementieva too.

No one says that Venus will be dominant over Serena. She doesn't have to dominate her to be ranked higher. I don't know why no one thinks Venus has a chance to beat Serena. V and S's battles are mental. I think their series will always go back and forth like this. One is winning and the other gets very motivated and then starts winning over the other.

Your obsession with the Williams fans is beginning to exceed your obsession with Hingis...!!!
I bet you KC cannot go a day without mentioning "You willifans" and lumping us all together. :p

Anyways, Here's my top Ten prediction for next season:
1. Serena
2. Venus (They could be either way. I feel as though once Vee and Ree return they're gonna be on their best, IMO)
3. Henin
4. Clijsters
5. Capriati
6. Dementieva
7. Davenport
8. Mauresmo
9. Myskina
10. Rubin

Mauresmo and Serena are listed at only 5'9", Dementieva and Molik at 5'11"
And I remember someone posting a pic with Bovina and Davenport together and Bovina appeared to look taller. :p

Still the question: why is it Venus at no.1 then?! I don´t think their series is gonna to float anymore. I don´t think that once Venus gets that one win, she will roll six straigth anymore. That time´s gone.
