The first match I saw was at the 2001 French Open and it was the quarterfinal Jennifer vs. Serena..That's when I became a devoted Capriati fan..:)

The first match I ever watched bits and pieces was Agassi vs. Chang at the 94 US Open.

The next time I saw a tennis match was at the 95 US Open and this was what got me hooked. We were in the front row at the Grandstand and I swear I didn't move the entire day. I saw Graf vs. Tauziat, Muster vs. Woodroofe, the Jensens vs. Merklein/Woodruff (a rare Jensen win) and Chanda Rubin vs. Gigi Fernandez. I stayed for the night session to watch Arantxa play Maria Jose Gaidano as well

I honestly cannot remember... I think it was between Lendl and Becker, I was too young, but I remember I liked Lendl, so it must have been him

but my first match I saw in person was Lleyton Hewitt vs. Greg Rusedski and Greg won.
