Why is tennis channel not showing live tennis during the 2nd biggest tournament in the US?

How is "Destination Tennis" more important than the Sony Ericsson Open?

And it's not like they don't have the rights :shrug:

They were expecting to show the men's match, so live tennis will be back on after Serena's match. But they have 2 women's matches scheduled after that in which they should show both Vee and Serena's matches.

I thought it was bad that I couldn't watch this from the UK. You guys are all from the US and can't watch it! WTA has failed us all

Tennis Channel has the rights to the night session. Serena vs Jie is still part of the day session and is probably being shown on your local FSN station. Live tennis coverage will begin as soon as the current match is over.

FSN was showing coverage. They even showed Venus's match. But the issue is Serena was going to play right after Murray's match, and after Murray's match was over they went off.
