Well as the season is on a bit of a hiatus I tend to pop in ALOT of old tennis tapes. Mostly of my favorites playing in past tourneys. SO what are some of your favorite all time videos that you rewatch and rewatch and still rewatch.. I know I am not alone in this. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> Am I?

By the way I think I watched Venus beating Hingis in 2000 US Open like 40 times already. I even know all the commentating by heart.

I don't usually watch many matches over again. I have a lot on tape though. The matches that I have seen twice include, MJF beating Serena at the French and MJF winning the first set against Venus at the US Open. Also, Sabatini over Sabine at the 95 US Open.

Same as you, Dawn. I like to watch tapes of my favorites. And not just Anna Kournikova and Elena Dementieva. Back when I preferred men's tennis, I taped alot of Stefan Edberg's matches. He was my favorite tennis player until he retired in 1996. Then Anna Kournikova came along! When I have some time, I'll need 5 hours, I'll watch his epic match and win over Michael Chang in the semifinals of the 1992 U.S. Open. It was a five set match, that took over 5 hours to play. remeber that one?

Pisces, I have that tape. I would be willing to trade for a copy of Hingis vs. Venus, 1999 or 2000.

The tape I watch the most has got to be the 2001 Wimbledon Final! It had a little bit of everything. At first Venus dominates, then Justine creeps in, but then Venus ends up shutting her out! Plus the rain delay and all.

Dawn, you are not alone. I have three that I watched atleast 10 times already.

2. 2001 us open semi- Venus vs Jen C....more hilarious then anything else, that stare down was infamous!

before those I watched over and over and over.....

I always return to good Steffi Graf matches

1990 French-where she lost to Seles. The crowd oohing and aahing at Monica's power.<br />One point was so incredible the fans screamed in excitement as 3 or 4 apparent winners were returned-one part of the crowd shushed the other as th epoint continued, then the whole stadium exploded as Steffi won it with a wild drop shot.

1994 US Open-Sanchez defeats Graf. VERY dramatic.

1999 French-Graf d. Hingis. Funny commentary. One game after Mcenroe comes into the booth Hingis has her famous "walk around the post".

Venus-Hingis in 2000 US open was also incredible<br />for the high quality from start to finish.

Also Conchita vs Graf SF FO 95 I was thinking Conchita woudl win but...

All the 5 matches of the Fed Cup Final 98 Spain vs Switzerland specially Hingis vs Arantxa & Conchita vs Schnyder ( but the doubles was great jeje)

Hingis vs Graf at Chase 96 was also great, same as FO 99 final, i love to see them fighting.

Roland Garros Wimbledon & US Open '94 finals... when Arantxa & Conchita are in bad form i love to see these matches and remember that incredible year....

Capriati vs. Navratilova, Wimbledon - I think it's 1991

Capriati vs. Seles, US Open, 1991, I keep watching it hoping Jen will pull i out, but she never does. At the end of the match, I'm as stunned as Jen is.

What very little that NBC showed of the Gold Medal match between Capriati and Graf at the Barcelona 1992 Olymoics.

I also have Stefan Edberg tapes that I love to watch. What a player and also what a gentleman. I miss him.

I have several tapes of matches from this year.

I watch the tape that features:<br />Serena vs. Schett at Canadian open and includes Venus vs lindsay in Pilot Pen final; Bedanova vs Seles Usopen 2001; Venus vs. Lisa Raymond; Lindsay vs. Likoseva(?) usopen 2001

My second fav tape is Usopen 2001 both semifinals with the miami final of Venus and Jen in between and the tape then follows with Usopen video(accompanied with music) highlight and the conclusion is the Final with Serena vs Venus. The tape then goes into news higlights of the match from local news channels....it's the coolest tape I have so far,

<br />The third tape is lindsay vs Venus at Acura and Monica vs Venus in the final...next match is Lindsay vs Monica at Estyle final.

I also have the Wimbly tape of Serena vs Jen/Venus vs Tauziat/ Venus vs Davenport/ Henin vs Capriati/the final( the sound got contorted and came out spotty on the final)

<br />The least watched tape I have is the Roland Garros tape that features serena vs Jennifer/ Venus vs Schett/ Serena vs Pitowski(?);Hingis vs. Capriati/Henin vs. Virginie(?)/ Clijsters vs capriati and the tape also features an exhibition of Venus vs serena for Oracene's charity.
