1on the foehand 2on the backhand. i'd be classified as an aggressive baseliner. i only ever lose to someone who can mix it up masterfully, but i've never lost to the same person and not beaten them the next time around.
my serve is very flat, which i am not satisfied with.
my volleys aren't my specialty either. i have the tendency to hit 2 handed backhand swinging volleys far too often.
footwork- my steps are too big, but im fast.

In doubles, I always play forehand. I hit mostly everyforehand with topspin. If I try to hit the ball flat, I usually net it. I run track and cross country, so movement and speed while playing on the defensive works well for me. I use a 1H backhand, but I usually slice it back or slice and approach the net. My serve has a alot of kick to it, but I find I try to put too much kick on the second serve, and find myself double faulting often. = / I find myself playing timidly sometimes, any tips?

I play one handed forehand and I love my two handed backhand!!! I hit hard and flat which is great when my game is on but is bad when everything is going everywhere!!!! I mostly hit parallels which gives me some more points since people are not used to that!!!

I also play with 2 hands off both sides (thanks to Monica who inspired me) I started out as 2 handed forehand (that is my big weapon) and a 1 handed backhand. But it was too hard for me to switch from the 1 hand to the 2 handed forehand (and I was not about to give up my 2 handed forehand). So I developed a 2 handed backhand and now it is almost as good as my forehand. I did not win any titles as a 2 handed forehand/1 handed backhand - but once I developed my 2 handed game I have won 4 titles now.
My backhand is more flat - and my forehand does have a little topspin on it, which makes the ball just come down right at the baseline. But I can hit that flat when I need to. My serve needs some work - and that is my main concern right now, I am working on that.
Thanks to Monica - I got interested in tennis - and now it is my passion. I will play tennis for the rest of my life. Play tennis - watch tennis - play tennis video games - tennis message forums!!! AAAHHHHH!!! I am addicted to tennis!!! Oh - and I am definately a baseliner of course.
:woohoo:

one handed forehand with some topspin but usually pretty flat. also can slice well.

two handed backhand pretty flat but use a heavy topspin one hand sometimes and have very very wicked slice that I use a ton and a killer drop shot with very soft hands that fools a lot of people because I can hit angles and deep shots and then a the last second hit a stunning drop shot

serve is too flat but do have a good slice serve if I need that to set up my forehand

excellent volleys with good depth or angles, can stick the high ones and hit a killer drop volley off of fast or slow balls :D

Hm, let's see.
One handed backhand and forehand. Forehand is sometimes erratic; backhand my most effective and unpredictable shot :).
Bad volleys under pressure. Mean lobs that land right on the baseline a lot. Pretty well-placed serve.

I wish, though, I could hit the ball between my legs like some male players do - Roddick, for example. Now that's pretty cool.

1 handed forehand
2 handed backhand...but I can, and do, use 1 hand often

I'm very aggressive. Every shot, I try to hit a winner. I'd say 90% of the time, when I lose...I lose the match on my errors. Either I hit the winner, or forced error, or I miss.
