she looked in peak form destroying Agnieszka 61 62 @ Roland Garros but has not won a match since then ... there was the letdown to Errani in the next match and then a routine loss to Wickmayer in Wimbledon :sad:

then she withdrew from Stanford, San Diego, Montreal, Cincy and New Haven and I guess USO is in doubt :eek:

and now she falls out of the SEWTA Top 40

I know there is some official injury given by the SEWTA but I am wondering if it is something more serious like loss of motivation or possible retirement :confused:

Didnt she have minor knee surgery? Someone posted pics of her on crutches IIRC.... :unsure:

Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova has undergone knee surgery in Russia.

Kuznetsova will be out of aciton for a few weeks and is not certain if she will be back in time for the US Open.

The Russian has been ranked as high as no. 2 in the world and has won the French and US Opens one time each in her career.

She has not been in good form this year and is out of the worlds toip 20 currently
