Her ranking falls to No.290 and only played 4 singles main draw this year...Is she seriously injured or something ??

Brie Rippner sustained a serious ankle injury in the AUS OPEN. She tried to make a comeback in March at Indian Wells/Miami but lost 1st rd both times and has since been re-cuperating after an ankle Op.

but she makes her comeback this week in the $50K USTA Challenger in Hattiesburg MISSISSIPPI

Yes, she was out a long time with an injury. I wonder if her performane will do any better.
