these were the three girls with the chance to win extra prize money for the USO and they are all out of the tournament now

the USTA is probably breathing a sign of relief that they don't have to spend an extra $1 milion

but it seems the truth is these three vultured too much

This was an unusual USO series because of The Olympics. The medal winners didnt care about Rogers Cup/Cincy as much as a normal year.
Domi won a weak Premier before The Olympics.
Petra and Li had extra motivation because of very weak results last year. Those are very inconsistent players, especially in the US

Last year with Serena winning it was more normal summer.
Caro was winning titles 2 years ago and won it.

The Olympics will always skew it. The medal winners weren't going to focus on the USO preps
