I just realized everyone has those green dots beside their usernames.
What are they supposed to mean?

Its called your 'reputation.' As you post if people like what your saying, they'll go and hit those scales below your username, when they do it will ask them if they liked your post or not. So of course you can have either a good or bad rep, people with red dots have a bad one..

Yeah you do. If you hit the USER CP option you can see who good repped you, sometimes they leave comments on your post so that way you know who repped you.
