I saw a big ad in the Los Angeles Times today hyping the Championships that will begin in November.

Of course there was a big picture of the WTA cynosure .

I hope that they are going to do some REALLY major publicity for it this year. As we all know, last year's publicity sucked. You know it was bad when Monica's friends had no idea why she was in LA

Let's hope they've learned their lesson.

I truely dont think that they will ever fill the Staples Center, but they have got to get more people in there than last year.

Well I dont think the whole of the Staples centre is open during the champs. Anyway I really really hope it does better then last year. There where more people at my local 10K challenger.

You're right about that. That place is WAY too big. What does it seat? 18,000 or so?

I like the facility in Carson that hosted the JP Morgan. But then again the Staples is indoors. And it was raining last year during the opening matches.

If they have to, they should give away some tickets.
