Week 1:

10,000$ Hong Kong - Victoria Park

Mizuno KIJIMA JPN d. Akiko OMAE JPN 62 61

Mizuno Kijima, currently ranked 692, wins her very first ITF tournament. The 19 year old started to play on the ITF tour in 2013 mainly playing in her home country. She gave the ITF tour a serious try in 2014 and finished the year on position 769.

It was the third time Kijima and Omae played each other with a 1-1 record so far (both matched in 2014 on hard court). Akiko Omae, a 21 year old from Kyoto, currently ranked at position 567 was chanceless in the final by only winning 3 games. Akiko Omae peaked at position 222 in 2012 and already won two ITFs inlcuding one 25,000$ in Pattaya, Thailand in 2011. After a horrible 2013 season it seems Omae is back on the track, however on the lower level.

DOUBLES: Mana AYUKAWA JPN/Makoto NINOMIYA JPN d. Hao Chen TANG CHN/Qiu Yu YE CHN 76(4) 26 10-7

The 20-year old Mana Ayukawa wins her 6th ITF doubles while 20 year old Makoto Ninomiya wins her 10th ITF doubles event. It is their second ITF title playing together.

Week 2:

Anne Schäfer, currently ranked 396, wins her 14th ITF tournament (5 in 2006; 2 in 2010; 3 in 2011; one in 2012; one in 2013 and one in 2014). The 27 year old from Thuringia is one of the biggest 10,000$ queens of the last years. 12 of her 13 titles so far were 10,000$ titles. In addition she won one 25,000$ in Dobrich, Bulgaria in 2012. Anne's career high was at position 161 in 2009 - ironically the year when she did not win a single title. Anne is now on a 10-0 single streak as she also won her last tournament of the 2014 season in Santa Margherita di Pula, Italy.

In Antalya, Anne did not lose a single set and was cruising easily through the draw, even with a double bagle in the second round against Esen Kokce from Turkey. In the final Anne benefited from the retirement of her opponent Elke Tiel from the Netherlands.

The 19 year old Elke Tiel from Voorhout, Netherlands is currently unranked and reached her very first ITF final. After reaching two quarterfinals (in Santa Margherita di Pula in September 2014 and Antalya in December 2014) she qualified for the main draw of the first Antalya Kaya Belek future and did not lose a single set until the final. Elke, who made her debut on the ITF tour in 2012 in Romania will be ranked approximately around position 800 after reaching the final.

The 20-year old Anita Husaric (right) from Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the 23 year old Danielle Mills (left; actually Danielle Rose Mills Ortiz) won their first doubles title playing together. Anita Husaric has won 5 ITF doubles tites while it was the 3rd title for Danielle Mills.

Katharina Lehnert, currently ranked 690, wins her second ITF title after winning the 10,000$ event in her hometown Braunschweig, Germany in 2012. Katharina Lehnert who represents the Philippines since 2013 reached her career high of 389 in April 2013. Lehnert, whos mother is from the Philippines, also represented her country in the Asian Games and at the Fed Cup.

Eva Wacanno

It was an attempt for the 23 year old Eva Wacanno, who trains at the Kim Clijsters Academy, to win her second ITF title after the 10,000$ event in Macon, France in 2014. Wacanno, who is currently ranked at position 593 (career high: 454 in July 2014).

Wacanno won also the doubles event to secure her 19th ITF doubles event, while it was the 7th doubles title for 21 year old Austrian Pia König.

18-year old Antonia Lottner, currently ranked 431, wins her 5th ITF title. Lottner, who started to play on the ITF Pro Circuit in 2010, won her first tournament already in 2011 in Stockholm. In 2013 two more titles in Macon, France and Cologne, Germany followed (both 10,000$ events). In 2014 she won the 15,000$ event in Braunschweig, Germany - her biggest title so far. Antonia, who was a top junior, peaked at position 354 in 2013.

Pemra Özgen

The 28 year old Pemra Özgen from Istanbul is currently ranked at position 259 was close to win her 9th ITF title. However it will be another step for Özgen to equalize her career high of 207 in May 2014 to finally reach the top 200.

(19 years), who is coached by Kveta Peschke's husband Torsten Peschke wins her 8th ITF Doubles title while it was the 9th ITF Doubles title for 20 year old Karolina Stuchla. Kuncikova and Stuchla are permanent doubles partners and have won already 8 ITF Doubles events playing together.

Gloria Liang, a 18 year old from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, currently ranked 699 won her very first ITF tournament. The young Canadian, who plays since 2012 on the ITF Pro Circuit, is a former winner of the U16 Orange Bowl and reached her second ITF Final after Santa Margherita di Pula, Italy in May 2014. This time she came through the final and beat 16 year old wildcard Alexa Graham from the US.

16 year old wildcard Alexa Graham, who is coached by former Pro Player Anna Bielen-Zarska from Poland, has just started her pro career in 2013. Graham is still unranked and it was of course her very first ITF final.

Singles winner Gloria Liang also reached the final of the doubles event together with her partner Rosie Johanson. However, their opponents Alexa Guarachi and Sherazad Reix made a clean sweep to win the final 62 61. For the 24 year old Alexa Guarachi from Fort Walton Beach, Florida it was her 5th ITF Pro Doubles title, while for the 25 year old Sherazad Reix (née Benamar) it was her 6th title of her career.

The top seed at the first satellite of the Tunisia Winter Tour in El Kantaoui easily won the tournament. The 24-year-old Myrtille Georges, currently ranked at position 302, but with a career high of 245 in 2013, only won her 3rd ITF Pro event after her two titles in 2011 (Apeldoorn) and 2012 (Le Havre).

18 year old Estelle Cascino from Marseille, currently ranked at position 497 still waits to win her first ITF title. It was her third final after Santa Margherita di Pula in March 2014 and Potchefstroom in December 2012.

It was 19-year old Petra Uberalová who finished Anne Schaefer's 14 matches lasting winning streak. The currently ranked 442 Slovak from Bratislava won her 3rd ITF Pro Circuit title after winning the 25,000$ event in Darmstadt and the 10,000$ event in Vienna in 2013. Uberalova is mostly known for her "sexy" outfits and FB pics and reached a career high of 293 in July 2014 so far.

After reaching the final last week, the team of Anne Schäfer and Lenka Wienerová won the title this time. It was Schäfers 5th ITF Doubles title while it was title number 10 for Wienerova, who was already close to the top 100 in singles and doubles, as she reached a career high of 129 in singles in 2009 and 158 in doubles in 2012.

After reaching the final in Sharm El Sheikh last week, 23 year old Eva Wacanno flew to Kazakhstan to finally win her second ITF title after Macon, France in 2014. After battling in the second round against Marta Paigina from Russia she also turned the final around and eventually won against the first seed Polina Vinogradova.

The currently ranked 288 Polina Vinogradova, who was already inside the top 200 in 2014 (position 198 in April 2014) played her first 10,000$ event since May 2013 in Monzon, Spain which she actually won. The 21 year old has already won 7 ITF titles (2 of the 25,000$ category and 5 of the 10,000$ events).

The Uzbeki pairment of Albina Khabibulina and Polina Merenkova won their second title together after Astana last year. The 22 year-old Khabibulina has already won 22 ITF Doubles titles in her career, including various 25,000$ events however only one singles title back in 2009.

For 19 year old Polina Merenkova it was her second title on the ITF Pro Tour.

It was a tough final for the top seed and currently ranked 266 Czech player Katerina Vankova to win the Segro International Open in Kaarst, Germany this week. It was Vankova's 14th victory on the ITF Pro Circuit, the first since her victory 2014 at the 15,000$ Seoul event in May.
Vankova mainly played 25,000$ events in 2014 but also some WTA tournaments like Stuttgart, Nurmeberg and Quebec lost in qualies) and even entered the qualifying event at the US Open 2014 where she reached the second qualifying round.

Tamara Korpatsch

The 25 year old Vankova, who is coached by former pro David Prinosil peaked at position 237 in August 2014 and had a fantastic year 2012 when she won 5 ITF Pro events (all 10,000$).

Her opponent in the final was young promising German qualifier Tamara Korpatsch. The 19 year old, who is coached by her father and currently ranked 642 (career high 553 in September 2013) reached her third final after the 10,000$ Alkmaar event in June 2014 and Ratingen in August 2013.

It was the premier title for 16 year old Usue Maitane Arconada from the US. The currently ranked 1026 on the WTA and nr. 21 in juniors beat the top seed in the final of the Internationaux Féminin de Tennis de l'ile Saint Martin on the island Guadeloupe. The 16 year old, who was born in Buenos Aires, gets $900 for her victory and 12 WTA points.

The runner-up of the tournament was the top seed Victoria Bosio from Santa Fe, Argentina. The currently ranked 361, who won 3 ITF titles (all of them in 2014) is in brilliant form and will reach her career high of 360 soon.

After losing in the second round of the first two ITF Futures played this year (Antalya F1 and Sharm El Sheik F2) it was an other title for the 22 year old and currently ranked 346 Bulgarian

Aleksandrina Naydenova. It was her 7th Singles title of the ITF Pro Circuit (the first since 2012) and Aleksandrina will try to crack her career high of 264 (April 2013) this season.

For the 21 year old Pia König (currently ranked 379 which is almost her career high of 378) it was another final on the ITF Pro Circuit. After winning her first two titles in 2014 (Portschach and Antalya in December) Pia took her good form into the 2015 season.
