Week #18 – Fed Cup semifinals & play-offs
Join Tennis Triple Jump!
This is the special event for the next Fed Cup matches, considering all the main draw and play-off World Group I and World Group II ties.
Instead of picking a player, you’ll need to pick whole countries.
All you need to do:
Choose 3 sets of 3 countries, for a total of 9, who will have the best positive difference between games won and games lost at the end of the 5 rubbers.
Example: 2005 final
Mary PIERCE (FRA) vs Elena DEMENTIEVA (RUS) 6-7 6-2 1-6
Amelie MAURESMO (FRA) vs Anastasia MYSKINA (RUS) 6-4 6-2
Amelie MAURESMO (FRA) vs Elena DEMENTIEVA (RUS) 4-6 6-4 2-6
Mary PIERCE (FRA) vs Anastasia MYSKINA (RUS) 4-6 6-4 6-2
Amelie MAURESMO / Mary PIERCE (FRA) vs Elena DEMENTIEVA / Dinara SAFINA (RUS) 4-6 6-1 3-6
Definitive value: +4
You can choose the same country twice or even 3 times, but you can’t pick the same country more than once in the same set.
It’s not compulsory, but you may post your picks in this format:
