Does anyone know what they've changed to the ITF entry list and withdrawals? Looks like players that withdrew after 20 Jan are listed as "PFLWMD". Not sure what PF means, but instead of moving players directly into the MD, they have just listed 3 "Available Slot" in the MD list. Is this a new change? Maybe @zsl1010 knows?

It seems like, starting this week, players have to withdraw from tournaments online via their IPIN account prior to the freeze deadline, and can't use the former withdrawal form anymore (bar exceptional circumstances). Maybe it has something to do with that? I don't know what PFLWMD stands for exactly, though.

I think ITF now refresh the Acceptance List until the Qualifying Sign-In Deadline.

The Freeze Deadline for Women’s ITF World Tennis Tour takes place at 14:00 hours GMT on the Thursday preceding the Tournament Week. So we have Ketino Dolashvili and three others on Thursday 20 Jan 'Withdrawn at Freeze' for the W60 ANDREZIEUX-BOUTHEON. (Withdrawn at Freeze is not necessary Late Withdrawals).

Then we have 4 PFLWQD and 4 PFLWMD players which correspond to 4 Available Slots in Main Draw and 4 Available Slots in Qualifying. The timing of the latest Acceptance List should be just before Qualifying sign-in, as there were still available slots in Qualfying.

The LWQ and LWM in PFLWQD and PFLWMD should have the usual meaning Late Withdrawals from MD and QD respectively. And I think PF ... D should indicate the time at which withdrawals were made, likely from the Freeze Deadline until the Qualifying Sign-In Deadline.

Since this all involves deadlines and each player has a maximum of 3 late withdrawals without penalty per calendar year, "PF" could stand for Penalty Free or something similar. In this case, of course we are in January so nobody has got such penalties yet and everyone is PFLWxD.

There are 4 LWM and 8 LWQ players without the PF description so the PF prefix should specify the date after 20 Jan the freeze deadline.

Yes, I mean everyone that has withdrawn after the freeze deadline is probably PFxxx as they can have 3 late withdrawals in 2022 without penalty and none has reached this amount yet.

I see what you mean though, penalties apply from the withdrawal deadline and not only from the freeze deadline. That's why I wonder if this could be related to the introduction of the online withdrawal process via IPIN last week.

Doubles is a mess,

But I like the singles draw, Boulter v Bogdan could be quite a good match up. ALF could get some wins here too.
