Re: W25 Woking (GBR) 2019 | Jul 29 (Draws)

This was Tayisiya and Yana Morderger's 13th meeting (including juniors), all matches have been in 2 sets and set scores were only either 6-2, 6-3 or 6-4 :spit:
https://www.itftennis.com/procircui...sult.aspx?player1=100154446&player2=100165640
You should watch the Morderger twins in a TV show. So funny ;)
Yana and Taya were in German TV shows "Bauer sucht Frau" and "Shopping Queen".
They are really VERY close, love each other and do everything together.
Both are sweet/kind/innocent, very naive and not the smartest

Yes, of course they do not fight when they have to play against each other.
They let the one twin win who is lower ranked and needs the ranking points more :p
So that they have it easier to play the same tournaments and travel together.

I also cheer for Morderger sisters, really nice girls. :SNE: It's really cool how they interact with fans on Insta and their voice, so sweet. 0:). I think they should try to concetrate on doubles like Kichenok sisters. They would probably not be as successful, but they would definetely have a chance against teams like Rompies/Gumulya or players like Van der Hook, Geuer or Wacanno who regulary play WTA tournaments. Also Sizikova and Lister, who have been around #500 place in singles their entire career broke into top 100 in doubles lately, as they start to concetrate on doubles. :D

Re: W25 Woking (GBR) 2019 | Jul 29 (Draws)

I agree with you :hi5:

Yes, they seem like nice girls and I also think they should focus on doubles in the future.
I think one reason (also other reasons) why they have weak results is their lack of intelligence.
Difference of night and day if you compare their intelligence to very intelligent Siegemund/Petkovic
A better coach would also help them improve, but similar to Korpatsch they lack money for that.
I almost gave up that they reach Top 100 in singles, but as you said in doubles it's possible :)
As you said the singles career would suffer/be over, so they should still try now in singles.

Re: W25 Woking (GBR) 2019 | Jul 29 (Draws)

It’s crazy how Yana is ranked almost 200 spots higher than Tayisiya considering how big the gap between them was during juniors. I really thought Tayisiya was one of the most promising 1997 girls back in 2013, but I still wouldn’t rule out her having a late career breakthrough if she keeps plugging away. The game is definitely there, what matters is if she can mature and improve enough tactically.

Re: W25 Woking (GBR) 2019 | Jul 29 (Draws)

Yes. But Taya had an injury in last weeks/months. And Yana was healthy.

Also not sure what influence Taya's participation in German TV show "Bauer sucht Frau" ("Farmer searches woman") had on her. (The farmer chose Taya from 2 girls, and then Taya went with him to his farm for 1 or 2 weeks. Yana visited them also on one day.)
You can search "tayisiya bauer sucht frau" on google and you find many photos :p
Taya gained some popularity in Germany because of her participation there. Many people here watch this show. And she was shown quite often.
I'm sure some people in Germany who do not follow WTA tennis (WTA is almost never on German TV anymore) know Taya more than Kerber

Also in a recent twin interview:
Taya said: "Maybe we want to reach the Top 100."
Then Yana said: "Not maybe ! We want to !"
So to make it short, Taya seems to have given up on Top 100 in singles. Only Yana still believes.

We will see. Maybe they will be another Jakupovic/Gatto-Monticone/Kawa.
There are many old players who break through now. Experience can be important/precious.

I watched Bauer sucht Frau: BEST OF Tayisiya & Matthias and even though my German skills are very limited, it was clear that youtuber was making jokes about her IQ. What was her decision in the end?

She probably made some money out of the show, but overall I think that reality show star thing could be disturbing for her career.

Taya and Matthias gave each other a shy good-bye-kiss at the bus station. And they promised to stay in contact and visit each other and see how far the relationship goes. After the show Matthias visited Taya in Dortmund.
Taya said it did not work, they are no couple. They are too different. She ended the relationship because she thinks that Matthias deserves a woman who can stay all the time with him and can give him more attention. Not someone like her who is away/travelling all around the world most of the year.
But Taya and Matthias are still in regular contact, they write each other often and stay friends.
I like both. They are kind and likeable people. Taya also said she had never met such kind/nice/friendly people in her life as farmer Matthias and his family. But not sure how honest Taya was with Matthias and the relationship. He seemed more in love than her ...

These pics were from Taya's last day with Matthias:

She is a very girly romantic girl.

I guess you mean this funny video:

:lol::lol::lol:

Yes, there were many jokes on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram about the low intelligence of the twins.
Also in this video. Mean, but also funny. I laughed so hard. Taya and Yana are so funny :eek:h:

Watch from 6:13 in the video when Yana came to the farm to visit them:
Yana to Matthias: "When Taya wears longer and darker clothes, then she looks completely different. Sooo a bit ... intelligent. I think I picked the wrong word. Wait ... Elegant !"

When you saw Taya and Yana in the show (I watched every episode), how they speak and behave, you thought they were more like 15/16 yo than 21 yo.

It was quite shocking, there were many funny and embarrassing scenes with Taya and Yana  :tape:

Yes, Taya made some money. And also gained a lot attention in Germany and a lot more followers on instagram. Taya promoted the TV show "Bauer sucht Frau" also on her instagram.

I agree, this is not good for her tennis career.

Yes, I also had to laugh so much

Taya and Yana are made for trash TV :rolls:
I hardly saw other people who are more entertaining/funny :eek:h:
And even better they are twins. Everything x2. lol They talk and behave exactly the same.

The combination of innocent/sweet/naive/stupid is just perfect.
You can be sure there happen funny things with them. Together they are unbeatable

Instagram (they love to use it) is perfect for not so smart (pretty) people.
They only have to take photos. They don't have to talk and write.

They are really sweet and nice girls, but also stupid
Very entertaining and embarrassing. Taya was the star of this show :eek:h:
I hope that Yana also will go to "Bauer sucht Frau" in one of the next cycles.
