Re: W25 Chiasso (SUI) 2019 | Apr 22 (Draws)

Unfortunately, Swiss tournaments are rarely live-streamed.

Meanwhile in Chiasso...

(Google translate)
SUSPICIOUS BETS AT THE AXION SWISS BANK TENNIS OPEN. THREE MEN QUESTIONED

In tennis jargon they call it "courtsiding" what three men reported to the police by the organizers of the Axion Swiss Bank Tennis Open, currently underway in Chiasso, are suspected.
This is a practice prohibited in tennis, which consists in betting, or transmitting information on the results, in real time by physically witnessing a game; before the scores are updated by the chair judges and, consequently, on the online betting platforms. Knowing the result in advance means being able to bet on a match based on the odds in force at the previous point and win easily.

It seems that the organizers of the tournament have already noticed Wednesday the suspicious behavior of three people, identified by the so-called "supervisor", or the person responsible for managing the competition of the Axion Swiss Bank Tennis Open and who were already known for bets prohibited. After the first checks on Wednesday, Thursday around 13.00 the police returned to the tournament. Three men who were part of the public were therefore identified and questioned, but at the moment no elements emerged that justified a detention and after about an hour the three were able to leave the police station. It must be said that the verifications are still ongoing and, the police specifies, should a criminal behavior appear to be criminal, they would be reported.
