Well, I guess no one expected Iatcenko to win this title, it really came out of nowhere. First 125 in her young career and a CHR to go with it! Got “lucky” in that QF vs Jamrichova, but apart from that all her wins were good and legitimate.

Her win against Pliskova was the only time I've seen her play. I had to admire her relentless persistence to keep returning Karolina's rally bombs right through the match, because she did that better than most of the regular tour players.
Outside of a W75 title early this year, Knutson has had a really rough season. Happy to see her have this run. I love having highly educated, environmentally conscious players on tour 
I'm not surprised by Polina's victory.
Already last week at W75 Le Neubourg, if she hadn't suffered a thigh injury at the end of the first set against Minnen in the semifinals, she probably would have won there too.
