In honor of Vietnamese tennis players regaining places on the WTA rankings, I've started this thread!

Viet-ha Ngo has finally regained a ranking, and is now at #939, which is the highest of any female Vietnamese tennis player EVER.

15 year old Trang Huynh Phuong Dai also jumped on the rankings at the same time, at #1071!!

Look out for Thuy-Dung Nguyen, who had just reached the semifinals of her tournament in Bangkok last week.

Go Vietnamese Tennis!! :worship:

Viet-Ha and Thuy-Dung have both advanced to the second round of the $10k in India this week! This means that Thuy-Dung will finally have enough tournaments to make it onto the rankings...at least in the top 900, too!!

Yeah Viet-ha has been living in Spain since she was 15 to train since there are more opportunities to play in tournaments there (Spain has an event like every week!)

She's in the main draw for a $10k this week, good luck to her!

Because of that she rose nearly 100 places in the rankings and is now at a career high 657 in the world! way to go Thuy Dung! Too bad she didn't make it out of qualies in the other $25k tournaments she entered in Australia. But definitely a move up for her!

In other news, Viet-Ha "Christina" Ngo is now a freshman playing for Georgia Tech.
