It was a though draw of course, but from a scoreline it does not look too bad after 1,5 years out of competition against # 3 of the world.
Her stats:
Aces: 3
DF: 5
1st serve percentage: 63% (26/40)
2nd serve percentage: 34% (8/34)
BP: 2/8
Total points won :66
Hopefully she let's us know soon her thoughts on this match and how she felt. Despite the loss, so happy she is back :yeah:

Worrying is that Vera made 43 UE, where Dellaqua won just 67 points in total. And Vera only scored 9 points out of 44 on Dellaqua's serve. I think that says it all. Haven't seen the match of course, but you can tell that from the stats. But it is just her second match after the surgery and rehab. You can workout and train as hard as you can, but you can't train match practice. I think time and match practice is what Vera needs now.

OK, here we go, Pattaya 2014. Vera just started her match against Plipuech, she held serve in first game and converted 3rd breakpoint to go *2-0 up
