Funny thing is she can beat anyone in the draw except for Serena or Maria or Na (who owns her and never chokes vs her like others). Problem is she can lose to pretty much any player in the draw on a given day too. 3rd or 4th round seems most likely result.

I suppose it might have been possible if VW had undergone a "step-change" doubling or tripling of her fitness after her diagnosis/treatment but as things stand, at her age she is just too physically frail to stand up to the grind of Roland Garros.
While VW has suffered from a lot of terrible losses at the French in the past and has the potential to go further (maybe mental block ?) her tendency to break down in long drawn out rallies means she stands a minimal chance at going all the way. Sorry.

I wish it was otherwise, but for now, even a QF would be a great accomplishment.
