She's now in the Quarters of Leipzig and her chance looks good against Kleinova in the Quarters.

What is her secret for doing so well this year??? not only singles, she's done so well also in doubles with Widjaja!

Go Maria!!! I'm becoming a fan very quickly!!! I'd love to see her in the semis, although I'm sure many would say she's only there because of a kind draw. But regardless, she beat who she had to play and that's still impressive to me!!!

Maria is just another player coming into her own later in her career.

I am glad to see so many veterans finding a second wind in their games. And, like Silvia Farina, who Kabchi beat today, is actually doing better now than probably in the years she was playing before her ranking dropped.

I agree with Capfan. The work she has put in with Edgebury  (however the fuck u spell his name) definitely has a lot to do with how well she has been playing lately. She is in way better shape then she was in a couple years ago, and I think this has also helped the mental part of this game.
