Pavlovic led 60 52, had tons of match points at 5-3, then they went on serve in the third set until 4-4 when Beck broke, she broke again at 5-5 but failed to serve it out again, led 4-2 in the tiebreak but Irena eventually won 7-5.

what a mess of a match.... Beck made only 3 points in the first set! :help:

She was lucky to stay in the match this long as Pavlovic wasted her chances left and right. Good fight in the third but she had two chances to serve for the match and wasted both.

This isn't how you make the MD of a slam. Her serve is way too weak to make an impact.

nah,
It was
*10 Beck
11*
*21
then on serve until 53*, obviously 55, *65, 66, 67

Awful service statistics from Beck once again + fights like crazy just to come back to choke herself in the third, deserved to lose

Am I the only one to be happy for Irena!!! :bounce::bounce:

Anyway, if there's one, I'll be the one!!

Wasn't optimistic when I saw the draw as Miss Beck is a talented young gun! But was rooting fr Irena who made it pretty good this year in Grand Slam:

1/Qualified for the Main Draw at the AUSTRALIAN OPEN (beating Kryst.Pliskova -current n°126-, Timea Babos -current n°59-

2/As a WC at the French Open, reached the 2nd round beating current n°114 Chang.

3/Reached the final round at the Wimbledon Qualies beating n°127 Erika Sema.
