I was delighted with Slava's outfit. All white. That is what she needs to be wearing during these hot humid conditions. Sure the outfit Slava wore in Dallas was prettier, but this one was way more practical. Practical >>>> Pretty, I'm afraid. :shrug:

Good match. Slava actually played a bit better than I was expecting, certainly better than in Dallas. Pleased with that. Vinci next though and Vinci is absolutely at the top of her game. I'm expecting this to be a very very tough match for Slava but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

And yes, as others have already mentioned and yet others will continue to mention, cute hug at the net.

Absolutely agree, the white's good but it looks a bit like a pregnancy dress

She was playing quite well indeed, but she should really cut down on the double faulting and easy errors for her to go deep in this tournament.

Edit: Hope it cools down a bit cause it looked like Slava was still struggling with the heat.

Slava did betetr than i though she would. I thought she wouldn't play all that well but manage to scrape through, but she's played decent and won fairly comfortably
