In US Open 1991, Jennifer was just two points away to go to the final when playing against Monica Seles in the semifinal....

In US Open 2003, Jennifer repeated the history again... playing Justine Henin-Hardene in the semifinal, and only two points away from earning the spot in the final!!!

This is absolutely devastating for Jennifer!!!

I mentioned this earlier. Jennifer played her HEART out in both of these matches plus the crowd was really behind her in both matches as well..its just a pity that Jen never recovered from that 91 match after a while but the real test is seeing if Jennifer has matured enough this time around to leave this match behind her and move on...it will be tough Im sure but hopefully in her head she will take the positive things from this and WORK on the negative things. There's a lot to be done before she can win Grand Slam titles again.

In this match, not just once, but 2 times she was 2 points from the match. Actually 3 times I think...twice in the 2nd set, once in the 3rd?

In 1991 she served for the match twice - at 5-4 and then at 6-5. Tonight, she served for the match twice, too...but in 2 different sets.
