What a good match from both, but chuffed our Harriet has qualified for her 2nd slam this year (3rd slam in total). Must have lasted not far off 3 hours.

USTA - You may or may not have fixed Serena vs Maria, but please may or may not fix Wang getting one of the 4 LLs, it'll be deserved. Great effort from both.

If Wang gets in, (4/6 chance, so more likely than not), they'll probably meet in one of the Q/LL vs Q/LL slots and Harriet will shit the bed again (figuratively) and lose 0-6 1-6 or something

Wang did look like she may have been feeling her thigh towards the very end, so hopefully she'll be OK if she gets a second chance.

Xiyu had so many chances to break Dart but couldn't convert and then faded at the end. I don't expect either of these two to be playing slam qualies much longer.

Although, the double bagel was following on from her coming through slam qualies for the first time. She could still repeat that experience here.

Still, this has already been by far her best year at the slams. The Wimby third round, and coming through qualies twice. Shame she had to miss the French.
