So now come on Woz, win it 20 (though it is unlikely to happen) :cheer:

Dared? What a bunch of chickens and pushers, for me Cibulkova was clear favourite, i even picked her in 2  you'all play 45 tournaments per year, probably over 100 matches and you can't dare to not push for couples of those matches

Clear favorite?

Cibulkova lost to Bouchard and Mladenovic. Was down 3-9 in the (yeah old) H2H and is ranked #66 (compared to #18). Ranking and H2H favored Wozniacki. Form was a tie because both are having a bad 2016. Of course that doesn't mean that picking Cibulkova would've been a bad idea but she definitely was not the clear favorite.

3 of the 7 other players in Singles are ranked higher than you. More than half of them made at least 1 GS final in their career and two of them have been #1. Another one #2. They probably know what they're doing. :)

Saying that she was the clear favorite is a bit much, but there is clear evidence so far in 2016 that everyone picks the same exact winners most of the time in WTA. I have been mentioning it in every TT thread now. It actually makes it a lot less fun than ITFs for me.

Anyways, it rarely happens that a day has only the favorites winning. Yesterday had Siegemund, today had Babos and Cibulkova (and Kozlova which wasn't much of an upset). In the end, I still believe that 'smart' risks will pay off more in the long run than just picking what everybody else will. And at least it makes it more fun and less related to chance.

Other thing I don't get: people putting 6-3 6-4 or 6-4 6-3 automatically for all TB matches or putting all the winners at 2-0  Nothing pisses me off more than losing against someone who put all the favorites as 2-0. While sometimes it makes sense, most of the time it looks like laziness and pisses me off as I put time and energy in doing an analysis of the matches.

63 64 gives you the best chance of winning. That's why :p

And I didn't say it was a bad pick. I probably would've thought about picking her too. She just wasn't the favorite. And definitely not the clear favorite.

Well, I need proof that 6-3 6-4 gives you the best chance, because in the end, if everyone puts 6-4 6-3 or 6-3 6-4, then you are likely to head to other TB matches, which makes TB useless.

I won the Us Open final with 7-6 6-2. If you look at results, there are just as much 6-1, 6-2, 7-5 or 7-6 sets as 6-3 or 6-4.

Looking at 3 of the last 4 slams (Wimbledon didn't have a PDF version of the draw), that's not the case. ;)

6:0 - 6,3%
6:1 - 12,5 %
6:2 - 18,1 %
6:3 - 23,5 %
6:4 - 22,1 %
7:5 - 9,1 %
7:6 - 8,3 %

daring would be picking Beck or Witthoeft, Cibulkova trashed Rodina in previous round and this was Wozniacki's first match in almost a month
