Interesting good :lol:. The thing about qualifying for non ranked players. But would that pertain to this certain tournament, Dubai? since there seems to be only a handful entering it, is that the reason of leaving it at eight? Or were you planning to use that idea for the rest of the Tier I's?Interesting good or interesting bad?
I dont know? I'm not really sure how many committed players there are for the tour, but the 8-8 idea sounds good. But then that eliminates choice of tournaments. what if 9 players played a Tier II and only 6 for a Tier I. personally i signed up for Paris because the court looks better and ALG scares me. :lol: But what the hell, you can only enter one or the other.
Maybe after this trial test of Dubai and Paris, a more sound setup can be used for future tournaments. But it seems you are headed toward the right direction. wish i could give more input instead of creating more questions.

Really? Because let's say Justin was playing Groenefeld/Oudin, and Gronefeld won all the Tier Is and Oudin won all the Tier IIs? :lol:I actually think it would be better to have a 16-Draw for both with Byes but people having two players

Right now, if say one tournament has 8 and the other only 6 people playing, there would have to be given two bye's to make it complete. However, if one tournament would have 9 and the other 7 players (just an example) I think the last person to enter should just switch tournaments because s/he is a late entry.
I'm not even sure we have 16 players yet so far :lol: so I think we have no choice but to have a draw starting at the QF for now.

I like the switching idea :lol: but it could conflict with people making their own schedules.
I totally agree with the bye's though. It would be the most logical solution.
