If you want to play on our fictional tour, you have to follow the rules that we have agreed on :) If you have a complaint or suggestion feel free to bring it up.

Rules

1. You must play with a custom player.
2. Your player should be based upon a real WTA player.
3. Realism is prefferable when it comes to player statistics.
4. No custom player should have a stat over 90.
5. You are only able to use RT Power risk shots on a serve/return and not during a point. (LT shots are allowable for now).
6. You are able to switch players IN BETWEEN events (Not during) but you will forfeit the rankings points earned by your previous character.
7. If the lag between two players is so bad that you cannot continue, remember the score and quit the match and ask your opponent to resume at a later time. Usually it is not a specific player's fault but just the nature of Online Gaming.

Please post in this thread if you are eligible to play :)

no I'm in the process of making an account if someone could explain :awww: THAT WOULD BE AWESOME :D
Create a gamertag on your Xbox hard drive. That is your base profile for people to find you online. When you buy your LIVE subscription it will be tied to that tag. Create a custom player in the game and level her statistics up to the maximum before playing online.

That new rule is a good one, I might like to change things up a little after a while.

Could you enter both events at the same time with a different player?

Two at the same event would be weird.

What if both of your characters made the final?

Rule:
A tournament is to be completed over the space of a week, except for slams which there are two weeks. When the draw is made you and your opponent have two days to decide on a day and time which you will play your match. Failure to play this time and date will result in a 24hr time frame to arrange another suitable time for your opponent. If an agreement cannot be met or no other arrangement is made with your opponent, then your opponent wins by w/o.

Sounds good?

Just to be certain, you can play only one or the other tournament, not both, right?
I was pondering this over the weekend. Not only is it a bit too much work for me to handle at the moment, I think it'd be cooler if we just stuck with one .

How do others feel about this? I think it'd be a bit unfair to allow someone with two characters to dominate the whole tour, cause after a while I think it would simply depend on the player behind the controller rather than specific attributes.

As for two events running in the same month, yes, you can only pick one. I am thinking of devising a roadmap that says one has to play a specific number of Tier IIs and Tier Is overall to avoid someone whoring up every Tier I.

We dont have that many players yet. Some of the tournament draws will probably end up really small. Why not just give each player the option of playing both of the events in one month. Apart from Slams and YEC there are 14 remaining tournaments. To avoid domination you could just limit each player to a maximum of 10 tournaments (apart from slams and YEC)

No, I agree with Cara, it would be boring if the same player would always win every week, let's just keep it so that you can only enter one event at the same time.

There is always the 'bye' we can give, if the tournaments outside of the slams start at the QF it shouldn't be that bad.

Thats fine as long as Cara limits the people who can enter each tournament. If 12 enter one then the other could only have like 4 people.
Yeah, there is a maximum of 8 for Tier IIs at the moment (QF draw) and 16 for Tier Is (BYEs would have to be included obviously). I was thinking of fixing up the Tier I draw system to 8 as well however, and including qualifying for lower ranked players...
