A month ago it was solved the big trouble of necessary unlimited editing in the section "Blast from the Past", but today I have had an ugly surprise. When I have tried to edit a post, it has appeared this message: You may not edit more than 10 different post(s) within 7 days.
It's honestly absurd. We can't work on our historical threads with this restriction! We can't work watching the calendar and amassing the things that we can't edit at once.
It's impossible work in this way!

Auckland Championships

This tournament usually began around early January and often lasted several weeks. Although it was an open tournament, in the early decades of its existence it tended to attract mainly players from Auckland.

Otago Championships
, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand

This tournament was first held in December of 1886, but in subsequent years it was moved up the calendar to its fixed position of late March or April, depending on when Easter occurred. In later years it was often referred to as the Otago Lawn Tennis Association’s Easter tournament.

In the early years of the tournament’s existence, up until 1893, the winner of the women’s singles event was the first player to win eight games (an advantage set was played if the score reached 8-all). From 1893 onwards, the winner of the same event was the first player to win nine games, with an advantage set being played if the score reached 9-all. From 1910 onwards, the women’s singles final became the standard best-of-three sets match, but the other matches in this event remained the best of 17 games on into the 1930s.

The early years of this tournament are rather obscure, and before World War One it is not clear exactly where the championship tournament was held although the likeliest venues are provided below. A devastating earthquake that occurred in the Hawke’s Bay region on 3 February 1931 had a detrimental effect on sporting events there for some time.

It was a little joke by me, sorry. I know that it all cannot work like this.
