sounds like none of the players are regular smokers. it would so foolish and detrimental. perhaps one or two will have a cigarette when socialising or out partying. they are human after all. loads of 'non-smokers- will occasionally light up.
same for alcohol. when they're out of an event, I'm sure a few beers or glasses of wine ease the stress and keep them feeling young. they are, after all, making big sacrifices. in moderation it's probably quite harmless.
