Umm I wouldn't call Celine a world class!
She was a secretary before she joined the tour (she did it pretty late) so some of the old habits obviously remained.

Yes i have seen a picture of Mauresmo smoking, it was taken in a restaurant or something. I was shocked and immediately took her down a level in my opinion of her. But the real question is not whether the girls smoke, but how much they smoke. Whether they are regular, daily habitual smokers. If you are a "social smoker" how many cigarettes do you smoke per day/week/month? I would be amazed if any of the tour mainstays smoke more than an average of twenty cigarettes per week.

sounds like none of the players are regular smokers. it would so foolish and detrimental. perhaps one or two will have a cigarette when socialising or out partying. they are human after all. loads of 'non-smokers- will occasionally light up.

same for alcohol. when they're out of an event, I'm sure a few beers or glasses of wine ease the stress and keep them feeling young. they are, after all, making big sacrifices. in moderation it's probably quite harmless.

I actually stopped Ben Affleck from smoking on my campus at work. I had no idea it was him until I started talking to him. He is much better looking in person, and has no problem with personal space - as he got right up in my face when he talked to me. Funny thing, he did not even smell like smoke....
