Any song released in any country during the 1960s is eligible. It can't be a later cover of a 1960s song.

I think the edit shouldn't be eligible, it's clearly not from the 60s. The whole point was to have 60s sounding songs, not modern retakes on old classics

Zowie. I love when songs get replaced and the result is such a splendid upgrade. 2nd time this game that's happened. The standard of this game was high to start with but with both replacements it got a little higher.

I'm going to be going up to London on a short break with the other half from Tuesday to Friday next week and also to a visit to his family for his birthday on Friday 23rd - so deadlines have changed – semi-final deadline will be Sunday 17th and voting for the final extended to Friday 23rd and the ceremony will be on SATURDAY 24th

i really don't have era-specific taste i don't think. but i do find this game a little underwhelming.

btw/ i had originally sent a kinks song, but changed it because somebody nominated another kinks song for game 297.
