Terrible week, Karen really should have won that one. Bit of an anticlimax after Glasgow and Jersey, but hey! You can't win them all.

linzi changed her schedule this year, staying in britain over the summer, it really hasn't paid off. hopefully next year she will spend the summer on the us/canadian hardcourt challengers and pick up a few wins, she's much better than 1028 in the world, she just needs to find some consistency.

Karen Paterson has won two round, and plays Chantal Coombs in the quarters!

On a side note Karen lost to Akgul Amanmuradova in the first round of $25K Mumbai last week

I am led to believe that Elena returns in December to play British Tour Events

Karen beat Cahntal in straight sets, and does play Akgul in the semi's. Hopefully she can get revenge for last weeks defeat

Karen lost 62 75 :sad:

but a good weeks, and another few points, thats Tipton and Hull from the beginning of last year saved already, so she can rest asssured she'll stay in the top 500 until she has another chunk of points coming off in May.
