As for Erika Vollmer-Obst, I am 99% she is an "Obst" and not a "Probst." If she was a Probst surely it would pop up somewhere in the old literature from the 1950s and 60s.
My best guess (only a guess) is someone confused her with the German player W. Probst-a player of the 1980s and 90s.
