Also I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately I started finding myself enjoying these stupid Christmas TV Hallmark-kind of movies for some reason. I love Lacey Chabert. Someone help me. :help:
I don't miss any :eek:h:

Guys are hot and the story always ends well :hearts:

I'm already eating my chocottones, so that's good.
I have begun my holiday drunken stupor today. Had friends over for lunch and drank whisky talking about everyone we know that wasn't there!

Holidays until the 6th of January for me but the really holidays begin in two and half weeks when I go home to my family. So excited for my brother's and sisters and nephews and brother in law's. I'm the youngest of six and my father has just had heart surgery so we are all heading home and are going to drink palinka, eat and just really be happy to be in their company (even if my sister's treat me as a slave!!)

I've never had chocottones before but after googling it, I feel like this is something I'd enjoy stuffing my face with
They are great. I've never enjoyed Panettones that much, but Chocottones are just awesome.

This kind of enthusiasm is against the intended spirit of the thread <img src="http://www.tennisforum.com/images/smilies/oh.gif" border="0" alt="" title="oh" class="inlineimg" /> I guess I'd be excited too if my holidays ran through to Jan... Lucky you
I'll be back with regrets 😉

Chocottones didn't really make their way up to Belgium until recently I believe (at least I first saw one last week)... And now that I hear you say that, I might give them a chance.

The thing is, I already LOVE Panettones and can hardly imagine how chocolate/cocoa can make it better. When I saw a Chocottone for the first time the other day, I thought it might be a recent twist on the traditional Panettone, but for the chocolate lovers, so I didn't bother buying it (it was also more expensive... so I had my doubts that it can beat the perfection of Panettone :p). And to some extent it probably is just a more recent twist on Panettone (given that it doesn't have its own Wikipedia page :p), but that doesn't mean it can't be as good, so I'll buy it next time. :)

While we are at it, do you also have Pandoro in Brazil?

And yeah, if you like Chocottone/Panettone, and you ever travel to Eastern Europe (Romania/Bulgaria - or a shop with products from that area), make sure to also try the Cozonac. ;)

If you already love Panettone you should probably stay with it, my parents, for example, hate Chocottone and love Panettone. Here in Brazil I eat them since always, and it has a wikipedia page in Portuguese. It may be a Brazilian thing, we are very into deturpating foods.

I don't know, I just don't enjoy a lot the fruits on the Panettone and I love some chocolate. That's why I like it so much.

And yes, we have Pandoro here, but they're not that popular.

Thanks for the suggestions, I don't think I'll go that soon to eastern Europe, but if I happen to go I'll try to give it a shot.
