2 majors later and still spot on. Criticize, get defensive and laugh but it's all true. Time and time again......

Barty, Bertens, Kvitova, Karolina, Halep, Stephens, Kerber, Muguruza.......read the OP again but i called them out correctly. As much as i WANT many of these ladies to step up and be real top players, it just isn't happening.

Barty isn't a true dominant player, aside from Myskina ( who had Svetlana, Venus, Capriati and Dementieva in succession to win) she had the most out of place and random GS win. Very nice girl and refreshing style of play but in reality she's a top 10 player at best.
Bertens is still a major choker, who doesn't handle pressure well at all.
Kvitova remains to be unclutch and unreliable in the slams.
Ka.Pliskova can still be taken down in big events, often without monumental efforts needed( although to her credit 3 of her 4 slam losses were tough long 3 setters). Bottom line, she doesn't have the ability to rise to the occasion when she's a favorite in the slams.
Halep can still be beaten by almost anyone at the majors, she can have one sided losses and often look overmatched.
Stephens, no comment needed
Kerber, no comment
Muguruza, no comment
Sharapova can't stay healthy and just isn't the same. Serena beatdown aside, she could get back to the top 20, but not much further.
Vika lost her edge and is almost trying too hard to get it back. Really poor run of results since RG, where she came in with her strongest run of form since return.
Venus is Venus, a decent win here or there but can't consistently challenge the top players and is often out early.
Wozniacki is still at the mercy of her opponents and now her defense is weaker, so she's even in more trouble. Could never out hit anyone, isn't crafty enough to throw them off and lost the consistency & defense that made her hard to hit through.
Sviotlina is stepping up in the majors lately, but when she gets deep.... she gets crushed. The trade off is that out of the majors she has lost her consistency.

Willing to bet i can bump this thread again after 2 more majors and the results will be on track.

It's like at school, you think you are right but the big boys laugh about you! :laugh2: Really, 90% of the users told you this.

ATP is a lot poorer than WTA now, WTA is in a great state of 200 solid players. Zvonareva said that, Kim Clijsters came back without problems after pregnancy whilst Sharapova or Azarenka didn't. WHY? Because the level is very high now in the WTA, Vera Zvonareva said before we barely had 15 players.

ATP's top 30 is full now of players that all of their career played in the Challenger tour, they reached top of the ATP when they were 30 years old. ATP survives because of the celebrities but in fact is very poor. Except for Thiem, none can reach their fame, not even overrated Zverev.
Kim Clijsters came back in 2009....that's the same time Maria came back from surgery, and Maria won 2 Majors and made 3 major finals. Or did you think that 2017 was the first comeback for Sharapova? Like why even compare Kim's 2009 return to players returning in 2017. SMH.

And you're right. it IS like in school, where the big boys are clicqued up and rule the land with mindless followers but in real life everyone thinks they are idiots and they can't adjust well in adulthood once school ends.

As i said, it's not talking negatively on the tour...it's just the reality. Literally spot on about regarding Barty, Pliskova and Kvitova today.
You must be confused or seeing things from an upside-down position. Foaming in the mouth about what actually isn't and will never happen. Barty was simply lucky to win RG and I doubt she will come close to winning any other slam. The same Pliskova who never won anything worthy of writing home about, in how many years on the tour? Kvitova who? Yeah, 2 slams and only on one surface and an inconsequential on every other surface? Simply look at her game. You honestly think, in your wildest imagination, a player like Kvitova has the ability to dominate this WTA tour? Hahahahahaha, some people, lol! It is so easy to wish the Czech gurls will happen. Just too bad they can't!

Of course, she did and the wins happened during the years when no one had any clue about Meldonium. The picture is different now since 2016. If they were real then, Sharapova should have no problem doing it again, right?
