1RD Capriati/Huss D Kops/Neuert 8-7
YouTube short video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ff_lV65LBgs

Unfortunately, Jennifer pulled out of the tournament after her first match, because of shoulder pain.:sad:
Jen has won a match! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: A shame she had to withdraw straight away again...

The video is amazing! Jennifer looks so happy! She looks lovely! :hearts:

How did her brother Steven do? Do you have the other results as well? Guess Hingis/Philippoussis will have won the whole thing...

These are the others 1st round results:
Arias/Rubin D Harrison/Bayley 8-3
Fisher/Harkleroad D S. Capriati/Sequera 8-3
Hingis/Philippoussis D Berry/Bonikowski 8-3

The final was between Arias/Rubin and Hingis/Philippoussis. Actually, I have no idea of who won the tournament, 'cause I couldn't find any news!!! And I'm pretty angry since nobody ever took the time to update the Official event website!!! :fiery:

All those 3rd set semifinals at the US Open.

Jen just about broke my heart. My what a fighter she was though. The only scalp she never claimed was Venus Williams. Venus had her number for some reason and never lost to Capriati.

The closest JCap got was at the Miami event. She had a ridiculous number of match points-maybe as high as 7?
