The 2003 WTGA Roland Garros

Welcome to Paris, France! The WTGA is playing it's second Grand Slam of the year. Australian Open champion, and current #1 in the world, Daniela Hantuchova started off the year red-hot, but has struggled on clay. Elena Dementieva has played both clay warm ups, and has come away the runner up and the champion. She is the heavy favorite in Paris. But this is a Grand Slam, anything can happen!

Points are Due: Monday 11:59 PM!!!

First match in Paris, and we have the first upset! Clijsters, the runner up last week failed to really change her game plan from last week. Kournikova really took advantage, and played a good match.

Not much of an upset, but revenge is sweet for Elena, who lost to Lindsay in the finals of Berlin. Lindsay didn't change her #'s from last week, and almost beat Dementieva...the cointoss changed the set.
