Olga Savchuk and Stepahie Cohen-Aloro started their match at almost 11pm yesterday, It ended at round 1am and Olga now has to play the second match of the day today, not before 1:30pm. That doesn't sound too good for her.

Couldn't they have put that match on like Court 2 or something. I think the crowd wouldn't mind seeing just Kim in the evening session and those girls probably wouldn't mind playing earlier.

Another thread from you??

Actually I agree with you though. Poor Olga will be practically asleep on her feet playing the two matches so close together. The scheduling does suck in my opinion.

Well that's typically Antwerp...

They should have put one of the other second round matches in the evening session, Daniilidou vs Koukalova or so and then let Savchuk and Cohen-Aloro play in the midday session.

Anyway we're used to it, last year they let Golovin and Safina play their 1st round after Kim's second round on Wednesday evening, that match finished around 2pm and Tati was visibly very tired in her second round against Myskina on Thursday...

Too bad indeed.

Well it is the Kim Clijsters show, is it. :)

But is it fair/normal they let Clijsters always play at the same time 19:30 evening?
Ofcourse to maximize crowd attendance, but still......

Of course. Nothing wrong with that.

And Olga seems to be doing quite well so far nevertheless, she's a set and a break up against Hantuchova.
