actually, if you're 16 you can legally smoke in Canada, you just can't buy '****' (unless they're the flaming kind ) until you're 19...it's one of those weird laws where you can pick up a habit three years before you can support it yourself.

Isn't it the same with drinking? that you can drink at any age as long as it's on your own property or something like that?
