All times Eastern

All current women's tennis is in red.

All past tennis matches and tennis-related programs are in blue.

WTA players featured in the programs below include Billie Jean King and Monica Seles.

This has been edited to include information on the German Open.

On a personal note,
Billie Jean King: Rebel With a Racket is well worth watching.

Also, I checked The Tennis Channel official website, but they have not posted any news of any kind. The last news on this site is that the channel was to have launched on April 15. I can only assume that if they had truly launched, their web site would say a lot more than it does right now, and it would have a programming list.

There will also be coverage of BERLIN. Why isn't that listed?
I only list what I can find.

I use www.tvguide.com, set for my local area of Dallas, TX (which includes all the main national channels, but not regional channels shown elsewhere). I search the listings using about a dozen key words and names, starting with "tennis". Because I live in the U.S. and receive U.S. channels, I can only list shows being televised in the U.S.

I also check Comedy Central's Saturday Night Live page, looking for various tennis-related episodes, especially the one hosted by Chris Evert. (They stubbornly refuse to show it.)

I do this every weekend. My service is free, voluntary and will sometimes miss things.

If you know of something I have missed, then please post in this thread:

Event
Date
Time (in Eastern)
Channel

Thanks.

Ah! After several tries, I finally found the "TV links" on tennis.com! I didn't think you were hallucinating. :)

Yes, according to tennis.com, ESPN will be showing the Berlin tournament. But according to ESPN's own site -- not just tvguide.com -- they have other programming going on during the times that tennis.com claims. I checked both ESPN and ESPN-2 for all the dates below, in case they were getting them mixed up, but I found nothing.

Anyhoo, yes, according to tennis.com, the following will be televised:

MasterCard German Open, Berlin

Thursday, May 8: ESPN, 3:30 - 5 P.M.

Friday, May 9: ESPN, 3:30 - 5 P.M.

Saturday, May 10: ESPN2, 8:30 - 10:30 P.M.

Sunday, May 11: ESPN2, 10:30 P.M. - 12 A.M.

Thanks for the info, mmcdonald. I'll add this information to the first post and include this site in the future as a source.

Didn't look at all their Rome info, but ESPN.com seems to agree with some, but not all, of tennis.com's Rome ESPN broadcast dates.

ESPN.com does agree with the only Hamburg telecast which tennis.com lists.

Hmm...I think IW is the 6th biggest tournament..or maybe even 7th (if you count the year ending championships as bigger).
