ITS FIRST ORIGINAL SERIES

First Episode of Player Profile Show to Feature Pete Sampras

LOS ANGELES * The Tennis Channel announced its first original series, "No Strings," an intimate look at the glamorous lifestyles of professional tennis players off the court. The first episode, entitled "Pete Sampras: No Strings," showcases the sport's all time leading money winner, recently voted the greatest men's player of all time in an ATP poll of current and former players and journalists. Subsequent episodes include "Lindsay Davenport: No Strings," focusing on the three-time Grand Slam winner, and "Andy Roddick: No Strings," about the rising American star many expect to succeed Sampras as America¹s best male player.

Each episode in the "No Strings" series will focus on one of tennis' top players, traveling with them on the road, hanging out at home, relaxing at play, and just doing the things they like to do. The series will offer unparalleled access to the players off the court, providing insight into the demands and rewards of the sport, the diverse aspects of each player¹s life and what makes each of them a unique individual as well as a world-class athlete.
