Voskoboeva led 5-2* final set and was two points from winning the match four times. She never faced BP the entire set, but got broken while serving for it at 5*-3. At 5*-5, she wasted four GPs and got broken on BP#1. What a terrible choke by her once again... and that to mental giant Begu! :lol: Begu double-faulted at 2*-5 to go down 15-30, but seems like Voskoboeva was choking too hard. Begu served out the match like a boss to 15.

I guess I've never seen a clutcher performance (on scoreboard). Irina-Camelia won every close game from the start of the 2nd set + a convincing TB without choking.

Irina-Camelia is such an enigma anyway. People know her from that monumental choke against Schiavone earlier this year, but on the other hand she has already won 2 matches this year from being MPs down.

By the way, Galina even had BPs to go up 6*-5 in the 2nd set as well.
