As you probably know, I'm going to the adidas International in Sydney on the 11th of January. This will be Daniela's first tournament of the 2004 season, so I'd like to get her year off to a great start by giving her a really nice gift from the Cocktail Party. I'm aware that some people are planning on spending some time away from the board, but I would like to get their input as well. We have approximately 2 1/2 months in order to find the perfect present for Danielka.

If you have any ideas for gifts, list them in this thread. If you want to send something to me to give to Daniela, PM me and I'll give you my address. Once we have enough ideas, I'll start a poll so that we can vote on a final decision.

Graham, I'd be very grateful if you did e-mail these people. Would there be any method of viewing our presentation to her? Or could we get a picture/audio?

Don't get me wrong. I'd send her flowers every day.

What I mean is that if we send her gifts every time, she's gonna feel overwhelmed and not going to play well.

An official gift... That must be great.
But why? Flowers + something else (wich will last more than flowers.)

Not at all, man!

But she must be focused and if we send her gifts continuously it's gonna get to her head and she'll not perform well. You can send the flowers to her in Sydney, it's allright to me, no problem. But remember that she must be focused on her game, and not disperse her mental strength. A gift should be something unique, a lil' nice detail but let's not make a routine out of this or we'll overwhelm her with good intention.

The easiest way to send a card via mail would be to send it through her agent at IMG, assuming anyone knows who it is. Come to think of it, maybe she'll have a new agency next year; IMG sure as hell was useless this year.

Possible list for poll,

Visor
Stuffed toy ( koala or dolphin with cp logo on visor )
Stuffed toy ( other )
CP Logo on small tennis accesories (???)
Bouquet of Flowers ( I think it's the most appropiate )
Portrait and our signatures
Box of chocolates ( how about we put our logo on it too )
A book about Australian animals or some other nice Australia-related gift

I think we have time to come up with something really cool.

I have a gift thats being made at the moment, its really special though i am not sure when it will be completely finished... more details soon.
