Fun fact: Elina Svitolina has won more titles than the first six players in your "current top 20 faves" list, (Colliins, Anisimova, Pegula, Rybakina, Kenin and Gauff)...COMBINED!!!! Not bad for a player whose game is irrelevant af.
So I’m only allowed to like players who’ve won titles!? Buzz the fuck off.

Absolutely... you can like who ever you want. I like loads of players far less successful than those on your list. My point is that you look rather silly when you call a player with 19 titles "irrelevant af" while so many of your own faves have had far fewer successes. So my criticism isn't to do with who you chose as your faves (like who you want by all means), it is to do with the lack of respect you show to those who have, in all fairness, outperformed your faves, and you know what? I think you know that.

She was one of the most disliked players on this forum, now all of a sudden people love her :spitrofl: .
Love her?

The only other thread is about who had a greater career: Svitolina or Sakkari. That seems a pretty hateful and insulting thread to start. :p

And I say that as a person, that likes Sakkari.

Great news! I thought she might not come back for some reason, but her coming back so soon is a good sign she’s ready to pick up where she left off. I can definitely see her back in the top 20, and as much as this forum maligns her constantly she is one of the biggest stars on tour (which says more about the lack of star power on tour than anything else).

Agreed - the baby was only born in October, so it was just 5 months ago. She can't have had much time to get in shape or practise since the birth.
It’s Elina though, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was doing squats five days after the birth.

Isn't this the player that went running to the WTA about Russian players playing alongside their flag? Last thing the tour needs is another troublemaker politicising the sport even more and adding to the tension in the locker room.

My take is that Elaine is a boring version of the name Elina.

A way to mock how boring some may find her game.

hehe.
If people think Svitolina is boring they need to check out her instagram. She can be cringey at times gushing over her sexy chocolate husband, but she’s real and entertaining. I’m also a Halep fan (pending) so I never had an issue with her grinder game style.

I feel like Svitolina handled herself in a dignified and respectful way considering the circumstances and in comparison to Kostyuck, who is the real trouble-maker.
