She had a great run of winning SFs and Finals. If she made it that far, she won the title, for a good stretch.

Never been a fan and honestly kinda forgot about her but she was a consistent top 10 player so it will be interesting to see how she does in this come back.
Regardless if you like how she plays, more high level players is good for the tour.

You are mixing her up with Maria Sakkari. Elina Svitolina won 16 titles, including 4 WTA1000s and the YEC. She was 16-3 in finals. Those are numbers Maria Sakkari doesn't even dare dream of.

Tbh it’s much more impressive than she is remembered for. Much like Aga, Elina is good at getting titles.
