Hi Gang,

I posted this in the "Lindsay at Wimbledon" thread but I felt it deserves some of it's own discussion if you're interested!?

Fact number 1: When Lindsay won Wimbledon in 1999 she never dropped a set en route to the final.....

Fact number 2: When Lindsay won Wimbledon in 1999 the Womens Final match was meant to be played on 3rd July (the same date that this year Womans SemiFinal is scheduled) - instead, she won the title on 4th July (US Independance day)!

Do we see some simalarities mounting up here......?:p

Any comments......?

To continue tradition, Lindsay must pound the newbie 6-1 6-1 tomorrow.

other 2 things: in 1999 it was raining a lot, some days it was impossible to play. Just like this year! and plus Lindsay was playing mixed doubles with Woodbridge (if i remember correctly) and to my knowledge she never played mixed again after that wimbledon. this year she's playing it with Bob Bryan!

*fingers crossed*
