more than a decade ago ppl laughed at kournikova for being top 10 player but never win a grand slam

now so common that you dont have to win grand slam and can be #1 for 67 weeks

would french open be won by any of 4 reigning gs winner or some1 new to the club?

Wow...we never had that discussion before...

The current #1 has just won a slam, just in case you forgot.

And just to point it out, Kournikova wasn't laughed at because she hadn't won a slam but because she never won anything...quite a difference.
